Vectoris Pharma - Insulin Spray in the Cheek

Summary
Vectoris Pharma LLC is seeking $1.5 millions in order to begin Phase II clinical trials. This patented buccal (in the cheek) technology sprays dry insulin powder in the cheek rather than into the lungs. This avoids the long-term lung damage observed with other aerosol products that target the lungs for insulin absorption. In addition, this formulation can be stored at room temperature. Phase I studies have been very promising.
